In Search Of (2017)

Audio-visual performance piece. Performed at Barbican Exhibition Halls, London, as part of MAP/Making - Make/Shift; Barbican Centre 2017 Curious Festival.

Through a continuous search for spiritual shelter, In Search Of observes the process in which the understanding of ones self meets a communal effort. The piece is scored for four improvisatory voices and track piece created from field recordings of diverse religious services and interviews with religious leaders in London including a Venerable, Imam, Rabbi, and Episcopal Priest.

The MAP/Making project is directed by Sofie Clements and Nell Catchpole with the support of Barbican Creative Learning.
